Attitude for Gratitude.
I can't say enough about having an attitude for gratitude. God has allowed me to be in the presence some truly amazing women! God shows me daily about those who he has put in my life and I'm thankful for the connections in varied different ways. Praying that I can be what they need from me as they are what I need from them in this season.
Biggest takeaway from this weekend's Sisters in Decipleship SID) class. As women, we seldom remember how special we ALL are individually.
I was in class with 12 blessed, beautiful women of God. The women varied in ages and marital statuses. During class we played a game. During the game, I asked how often do you remind yourself of how special you are and how God sees you in Proverbs 31:15
15 She is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.
The room went quiet, when the volume lifted the first answer received was the person did not. I opened it up to the room and no one in the room not even myself made that as healthy reminder or affirmation. Based on how the class was trancending, we knew it was reminder from God on something we all should do. As the conversations on this topic ensued, we sprouted the idea of an affirmation board!
Do you have an affirmation board?
Do you have positive affirmation that you can pull from throughout the day?
Women, I challenge you to create an Affirmation Board, or Affirmation Wall. Words of Affirmation is one of the love languages. Affirm you!! See yourself how God sees you, and take the time for self care.
Seek ye first the kingdom of God!
